Various songs from alternative country/indie-rock singer/songwriter Brad Byrd's debut album "The Ever Changing Picture" (2005),
recorded and mixed in Los Angeles, CA by producer/mixer Evan Frankfort (Wallflowers, Jayhawks, Liz Phair, Pete Yorn, 90210), have
been featured in over 20 television shows, independent films, national ad campaigns, and charted on radio stations. The track
"You're Good" was featured in the "2004 UPN hit series Jake 2.0", while "The Ever Changing Picture" landed a spot on the 2005
independent film "All Aboard the Crazy Train" starring Ben Stiller, Eddie Vedder, and Laird Hamilton. "Gold" was not only used
during the "2006 ESPN Winter X Games" when snowboarder Shaun White accepted his gold medal, but also landed a spot on the
"TEVA Vol 2 - Nomadic Anthology compilation" alongside artists such as Joe Strummer, Ben Harper, Glen Phillips, and Josh Ritter.
Stand out track "Better Days" was featured in the 2006 National Ad campaign for "Clear Channel radio" and was also the runner up
(edged out by the Decemberist's) featured song for use in the trailer for 2008's film "Sunshine Cleaning" starring Amy Adams,
Emily Blunt, and Alan Arkin. The radio single "Never Came Back" topped the singer/songwriter charts on "Artistdirect.com" on
April 30, 2004 as the # 1 downloaded song ahead of artists such as Jewel, Jason Mraz, and Damien Rice. Whereas fan favorite
"Weird Enough" made the 2006 year end countdown charts at number 145 on popular radio station "WBER 90.5FM Rochester, NY" in
the company of super star acts such as Coldplay, Snow Patrol, and indie darlings Imogen Heap to name a few.

MTV and VH1 have used multiple background songs/instrumentals on various reality shows (see
Film/TV Credits).
In and around 2007 BB self (leaked) released a 4 song EP entitled "Release Me" at shows only featuring the tracks "Release Me"
and "Stay" which were both showcased during the first two season's of E! Entertainment's hit reality show
"Keeping Up with the Kardashian's".
In 2009, Brad leaked a mix of the alternative country rock song "Train Tracks" (mixed by LA's Bryan Cook) off his upcoming
sophomore full length record that was amazingly added to active rotation on NY's popular country rock station 102.9FM.
The track has been a "fan favorite" according to longtime DJ Jason Langstaff, who states that "the phones have been ringing
off the hook since the track has been added to rotation". The song continues to hold its own with the likes of country
rock super stars such as Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw to name a few. Simply unheard of
for an unsigned artist.
Brad has continuously wowed fans and industry people alike with his consistent film/tv placements, radio spins, and
opening slots for years with no label/investor support of any kind. All the while, steadily chipping away at developing
a national/international following sharing the stage with a diverse range of up and coming national/regional touring acts
from Los Angeles, CA to Colorado to NYC to Boston to Montreal at clubs, festivals, coffeeshops, and theaters such as Gold Motel,
Family of the Year, Willy Mason, Zox, Jurassic 5, Reel Big Fish, Adam Cohen (Low Millions), Terra Naomi, Buddy, Steve Reynolds,
Goldspot, Sugarcult, Penfifteen Club, Julian Velard, Mary Lou Lord, Ben KN, Adam Ezra, and many many more.
Brad is currently focused on putting the finishing touches on his second official full length album with producer/mixer/drummer
Steve Scully at Yellow Studios in Cambridge, MA. Also performing on this album is bassist Joe Klompus (Kay Hanley, Juliana Hatfield,
The Submarines), guitarist Matt Pynn (Will Dailey, Click 5, The Candles) and mixer/producer Bryan Cook (Radiohead, Train, Beck),
mixer/producer Scott Reibling ( Fall Out Boy, American Hi-Fi), and mixer/producer Jon Lupfer (Q Division studios- Pixies, Aimee Mann,
Howie Day).
